Okay, I think I need to confess. I'm starting to enjoy beating up on 1904. I've been working on polygraph stuff most of the day, and I keep finding that answering over there is a great stress reliever because he (1904) makes hitting the target so easy. Should I feel bad?Other than Drew (whom some of you have drawn and quartered), he's their only resident "expert," and he's been shown to be a buffoon over and over again. Oh yeah, good luck Ted. Ted, I think your the mole and thats why you need the rouge. You know, to cover the dirt on your face.Come on Ted, spit it out, now that you have been outed by Georgie (publicly) have you been giving him the dirt? I know you and Jim think I haven't been keeping up but I always keep up with the two of you. A thankless job but Barry gets tired of doing it. It is really not easy trying to keep Jim in check now that he is in wonderland. I think he has already been banned from one casino. The one with the cross dressers. I think its called "What you wear in Vegas ought to stay there" Jack ------------------

My intention at the anti site was to simply point out the inconsistencies in their logic and arguments. I expected to chime in rather infrequently, but I think I've unintentionally made 1904 the face of the anti site, and he's just so out to lunch it's scary. He can't be a very good examiner. I didn't answer him, but he doesn't know how to score pneumos, and he clearly hasn't read but snippets of the NAS report, let alone any other studies of importance. (He has no idea if my reference to the "1988" computer scoring really study exists.) He's apparently never done anything he can be proud of, as he has nothing to say of any substance. My guess is he got caught screwing things up and now he's bitter. This isn't even fun for him. He's clearly flustered, as nobody can really be that dumb. I should stop correcting him and let him have the last word. There are some there who know he's wrong, and we'll see if they let his gibberish stand. IP: Logged |

Might I suggest beating him with your (out of view) peg leg?At least you still have hands to attach the pneumos! It would be tough with a hook. IP: Logged |

quote: SA fraud investigator accused of plagiarismBy Lynne Altenroxel Alleged deception in a book - somewhat ironically about uncovering deception - is at the centre of a spat between two top forensic investigators. The recently published book, Truth Extraction: How to Read Between the Lines, is described as "an essential tool for all to whom truth matters" and carries the endorsement of Carte Blanche TV personalities George Mazarakis and Derek Watts. It is co-authored by communications expert Malcolm Russell, formerly of Highveld Stereo and Radio 702. But it is the second co-author, South African fraud investigator Clifton "Cliff" Coetzee, who stands accused of plagiarising the work of his American colleague, Nathan Gordon. Gordon lodged a case of fraud against Coetzee Gordon has trained intelligence agencies around the world and won a medal in 1999 for his role in solving a 14-year-old murder mystery in the United States. He has accused Coetzee of lifting a copyrighted 16-page questionnaire handed out at an eight-week course he presented in 1998 in Johannesburg, which Coetzee attended. This month, Gordon lodged a case of fraud against Coetzee at the Commercial Crime Unit in Johannesburg. Coetzee, in turn, has lodged a defamation action against Gordon after Gordon raised the plagiarism accusations at a public meeting of the Polygraph Association of Southern Africa, of which both are members. Association president John Roberts has confirmed that his organisation is aware of the plagiarism allegations, but said they were awaiting the outcome of the court case before making a decision about how to deal with it. 'That questionnaire has been around for the past 20 years' Coetzee denies that the questionnaire was plagiarised from the course. He says it is similar to a public document which is two decades old. "He (Gordon) didn't devise it. That questionnaire has been around for the past 20 years," said Coetzee. Star Published on the Web by IOL on 2001-02-27 20:25:07 © Independent Online 2005. This apparently got lost in the SA courts, and nothing came of it. I've heard Cliff's suspension from the SA association was made public though. Does anybody know if that's the case? I might go on a writing campaign and see what they'll tell me over there. George has admitted Cliff's threat letter was a bit overboard, but he "thinks" it stemmed from the problem's I had here when Cliff was "Gizmo," which I believe to be his dog's name. Funny, I didn't get any emails from Cliff until I posted at the anti site. Anyhow, I told George I liked the fact that Cliff had become the face of his site. I also mentioned he could learn of this allegation (and the rumored suspension) if he looked hard enough. No response yet, but Cliff's been quiet. IP: Logged |

Thanks Ted.here's a bit more... the way Tom told the story, he was upstairs the whole time, prepared to not allow any attorney to do downstairs to the basement of the old Phoenix PD, where his partner used to interview folks and obtain confessions using the police interviewing tactics and technologies available and approved of at the time... someone else who was present indicated it was Tom's partner who remained upstairs... Anyway, it may just be story-telling. It does make good story-telling. Like big-fish stories, we might want to polygraph the principals. r
